Our English test on the Human Conflict and Struggle Unit is on Oct 18, Tuesday.  Remember to come early; it starts at recess if you need it AND BRING YOUR LUNCH if you think you will need to stay after the bell. I have organized the test for this period so that people will not feel pressured by time for their first test. 

The assignment for the Hobbit, which is due Dec 12, was given out today.  Students should be reading their novel in preparation for this assignment.  You are also reminded that The Lord of the Flies is to be read for Nov 1st and we will be going through this text in class.
